Recipe preparation steps

Preheat the oven to 180 °C top/bottom heat or 160 °C fan.

Grease the bottom of the baking pan with a little butter.

Spread out the bread.

Place half a slice of cheese on each slice of bread, then crack a raw egg.

In total, that's 4 slices of bread, 2 slices of cheese and 4 eggs. If you're preparing a smaller amount, please keep this in mind.

Sprinkle some salt and pepper on the raw egg, depending on your taste.

Place in the oven for 15 minutes until the egg is cooked, depending on your preferences.
