Kurczaka kroimy w kostkę i marynujemy w sosie złożonym z soku cytrynowego (2 łyżki), oliwy z oliwek (2 łyżki), odrobiną suszonej papryki chilli (na czubku łyżeczki) i soli. Smażymy na rozgrzanej patelni (bez dodatkowego tłuszczu). W międzyczasie przygotowujemy sałatkę: rukolę myjemy, dodajemy pomidorki koktajlowe (możemy je przekroić na pół) i posiekaną czerwoną cebulę. Polewamy dressingiem (1 łyżka oliwy, 1 łyżeczka soku z cytryny, pieprz, sól). Na sałatkę wykładamy zawartość patelni.
