Peel the onion, halve it and cut it into thin strips. Wash and clean the pepper and cut it into 1/2 to 1 cm pieces. Wash and peel the potatoes and also cut them into small cubes.
Heat the oil in a pan. Sauté the onion strips until translucent, add the pepper and potato cubes and fry.
Deglaze the vegetables with the stock; season with paprika, Tabasco, and tomato paste. Bring everything to a boil and cook for about 15 minutes.
Season the soup again and add salt if necessary. Pour the soup into 2 deep bowls and serve hot.
