Training aimed at developing muscular strength serves as an excellent form of physical activity, especially when working on our body shape. Through consistent strength training, we strengthen our health, while also impacting our movement system, mental sphere, and increasing our self-confidence. Let us remember that the foundation for muscular strength development lies in our mind. In the subsequent sections of the article, we will attempt to bring the advantages of strength training and its proper execution closer. We will also present examples of training plans.
What does strength training look like?
Strength training has so many benefits that hundreds of articles can be written about it. Strengths are the most important physical adaptation of a person, affecting the building of other motor traits such as power and speed. Regular training improves the density of bone mineralization, which helps prevent injury. Strength training should include many complex exercises such as squats, presses, pulls, and deadlifts. These exercises have a significant impact on the body. To start training, we must first learn how to breathe properly and the correct technique for the exercises. This improves our performance and prevents injuries. When we start strength training, we should train more than once a week to learn the technique faster. If we are still learning, we should not lift too much weight and not perform every set to failure. Any fatigue during the learning process negatively affects the technique. The rest period between sets should be between 3 and 9 minutes. A five-minute rest period between sets works best as it allows the nervous system to recover and the body to stay flexible.
