In this paper, I've decided to delve into the topic of postural disorders and, more specifically, abnormalities in the spine, including their characteristics and methods for diagnosis.

To comprehensively grasp the intricacies associated with human bodily alignment, it is first essential to meticulously define the foundational terminological concepts. This preliminary step facilitates a deeper understanding of the dysfunctions that may manifest within our musculoskeletal system. **Proper posture** is conceptualized as a **balanced and symmetrical configuration** of the body’s individual segments in relation to one another and to the **longitudinal axis of the body**. This state is sustained with **minimal energetic expenditure** by the muscular and nervous systems, indicative of its **biomechanical efficiency**. Frequently, this term is ascribed to silhouettes that, due to their prevalence within a given population, are deemed **normative and healthy**.
Optimal bodily alignment serves as an **indicator of complete physical and psychological well-being**, as it reflects **harmonious development** of both anatomical structures and physiological functions. Its foundation lies in the **correct formation of the osteoligamentous-articular system**, a **well-developed and high-performance muscular apparatus**, and a **efficiently coordinated nervous system**.
