Aerobics is a very prevalent and privileged form of physical activity. There exists a considerable number of its variations that are based on the elementary principles of aerobics and provide numerous benefits for those who engage in it.
Aerobic training against deficiency of physical activity
Aerobic training in this form originated in response to the need to restore balance between professional and physical activity. Work, most often performed in a sitting position, and a lifestyle with insufficient movement have led to the spread of the health-damaging phenomenon of hypokinesia. However, considering Moshe Feldenkrais' words that 'the mind could not function without motor functions', humanity quickly developed aerobic training (these exercises were initiated by Dr. Kenneth Cooper).
