Large, strong arm muscles are the desire of every bodybuilder... but why, despite regular workouts, do they not want to grow? Probably, during your early training sessions, you are making mistakes that effectively limit their growth.
Fast-growing biceps – more isn't better
A very common mistake in training biceps is overloading them. Many people work out this muscle during every gym visit. If too many sets or repetitions are performed within a week, this results in overloading the muscle, which means there's no time for regeneration and hence problems with development may arise. Biceps grow during rest periods, and training serves as a stimulus for growth. It's important to note that the two-headed arm muscle also works during back training. This should be considered when determining the number of sets. Gym training is a marathon, not a sprint, so it's wiser to gradually and cautiously increase the intensity and volume of training.
