American blueberries, also known as Highbush Blueberries (Vaccinium corymbosum L..), are a cultivated species native to North America. Today, their plantations can be found in many countries around the world, including Japan, Chile, New Zealand, and throughout Europe. Interestingly, Poland is the second largest producer in the EU and the sixth largest producer of blueberries in the world.
