As nutritional and metabolic science has advanced, a variety of diets have been developed that claim to be healthy or even therapeutic. However, scientific statements without proper context frequently fail to demonstrate their true effectiveness in practice, much like weight loss diets.
A high-fat diet
There are two basic variants of this diet a high-fat and low-carbohydrate diet called a low-fat diet. However, if the calorie content of 33% of each source can be called a balanced diet, then any diet with about 40% or more energy provided by fats will be a high fat diet. In the first case, the low-fats diet is a fast-food diet, and in the second case, it is a healthy diet that can lead to a healthy, healthy diet. A high fat and high-protein diet, of course, will always have a significant effect on the nutritional value of fat and protein.
