Ongoing investigations into its origins have established it as a heterogeneous condition, the progression of which is shaped by numerous internal and external factors. Estimates suggest that in Poland, one in ten individuals experiences mental health issues, with women being twice as likely to develop depressive disorder as men. However, it is important to note that this disparity may be influenced by the fact that women are more inclined to seek professional medical assistance than men.
