The subject of parasitic diseases remains largely overlooked in public discourse, primarily due to societal stigma and the embarrassment experienced by affected individuals. Upon infection of the human body by these pathogens, a gradual deterioration of health ensues, with early symptoms often being nonspecific and easily mistaken for other conditions.
