Certain species, owing to their unique properties, are employed as adjuncts to conventional treatment methods or even as standalone therapeutic solutions. However, prior to their incorporation into daily supplementation regimens, a thorough understanding of their mechanisms of action—as well as an awareness of potential interactions or contraindications—is indispensable. Among the plants currently garnering significant attention from researchers and practitioners of natural medicine is white mulberry (*Morus alba*), a shrubby perennial with a broad spectrum of activity that, though native to Asia, has successfully acclimatized to the climatic conditions of Central Europe, including Poland.
