After consuming the plant, the mucus produces a special protective layer in the stomach, which protects it from developing various inflammatory conditions. It is also a very good way to relieve painful conditions. However, extract from the seed of the mustard greens soaked in water has been used in the treatment of hyperacidity or peptic ulcer. Seeds can also be used in constipation, indigestion, and appetite disorders. Mustard greens also have warming and anti-inflammatory properties. Therefore, it is often recommended in cases of rheumatic pain and muscle problems. Here it is worth mentioning that the seeds of the black variety of mustard greens are most commonly used. The seeds of this plant contain a special mustard oil, which is particularly recommended for people with serious diseases of the musculoskeletal system, such as psoriatic arthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, or neuralgia. Mustard greens is also recommended in the therapy of respiratory diseases. As an example, inflammation of the sinuses or pneumonia can be mentioned. However, it should be remembered to heat the seeds beforehand in order to fully utilize their healing potential. Mustard greens is not suitable for everyone. Due to the effect of strong hyperemia and intense burning, prolonged use of mustard seeds can lead to irritation of the area where the seeds of the plant were used, which can also lead to tissue necrosis. Too large doses used in the therapy of gastrointestinal diseases can cause internal bleeding or hematuria. How to utilize mustard seeds?

Initially, the treatment should be carried out in two sessions of 10 minutes each, gradually prolonging the time to 30 minutes over a span of 7-10 days. On the other hand, in cases of gastrointestinal ailments, the consumption of a decoction of mustard seeds is recommended. To accomplish this, 1 tablespoon of the seeds should be added to 1 cup of summer water and heated for approximately 10 minutes.
