Indulging in comfort cuisine aims to stir nostalgic emotions and recall fond memories, such as a hearty lunch made by grandpa or mom's kitchen. Ideal for solace, mood enhancement, or a seasonal cold. Fast food has been around for years, slow food is gaining traction, and now it's time to explore comfort cuisine.
The term comfort food is defined in the Webster dictionary as "traditionally prepared foods that evoke the tastes of childhood". This type of food has a sentimental value, which is why it is often referred to as "humor enhancers" or "comforting foods". The term "comfort foods" is not new, as early as 1977. It appeared in Webster's Dictionary, where it is defined as a "traditional food that evokes childhood tastes". These types of dishes have a sensual value, and hence are often called "humorous foods" and "comfortable meals".
Comfort food differs greatly from country to country, from culture to culture, and from ice cream, which is a common remedy. For example, rosemary, pizza, cheese chips, and ketchup (in Poland in the form of a sausage that many people remember from school days). Many countries also enjoy tomato soup, homemade chocolate, hot chocolate, and, of course, ice cream that is a cure for all evil. Below we present a short list of the international comfort cheese chips.
