The five-second rule

Although we don't know exactly where the five-second rule came from, which today takes the form of an urban legend, scientists at Clemson University decided to test this myth, but we've all probably heard of it. According to it, food that falls to the ground can be picked up and eaten if it's not on the ground for more than five seconds. After that, a piece of cake or a sandwich gets infected by bacteria on the floor.
