Jajka gotujemy na twardo. Gdy będą gotowe obieramy ze skorupki i kroimy na połowy. Z każdej wydrążamy żółtka, które wkładamy do miski aby czekały na resztę przyjaciół. Kroimy pieczarki na mniejsze kawałki i cebulę w kostkę. Następnie podsmażamy je na maśle. Żółtka gnieciemy widelcem i dodajemy wystudzone pieczarki wraz z cebulą. Aby wszystko scalić w całość dodajemy majonez i mieszamy. Po uzyskaniu jednolitej konsystencji wracamy do naszych białek jaj.
