Weißzucker im Vergleich zu Braunzucker... Analysieren wir ihre Nährstoffgehalte und gesundheitlichen Auswirkungen
1 / 1

It's white sugar

White sugar is the most popular and most commonly used sugar and is subjected to a process of refining, which reduces its composition to almost sucrose. In Poland, the main raw material for sugar production is sugar beet. However, regardless of its source, the production process is similar.

It's brown sugar

Among the brown sugar we can list different types of brown, depending on the way it is produced and its source: refined, cane sugar or brown powdered sugar, unrefined, cinnamon sugar or cranberry sugar The refining process deprives the sugar of all the mineral ingredients that are in beans or cane sugar. The production of refined sugar is the same as white, but at the end of the process, it is added to it a molasses that also gives it a brown color. As it turns out, not all brown sugars are healthier than white sugar.

Which sugar to choose?

It is best to choose unrefined sugar. It is worth reading the label of the product on which the manufacturer is obliged to indicate whether the sugar has undergone a refining process or not. Brown sugar is a better choice. In addition to sugars, it contains valuable mineral ingredients, but we have to take into account its higher price.
